Which design scheme is good for automatic screw locking machine
Time:2025-06-18Number of times:572Enterprises purchase new equipment and adopt new technologies mainly to change the existing unfavorable factors in production, improve production efficiency, increase product qualification rate, reduce production costs, and reduce labor. The cost and return on investment of equipment are the determining factors for whether a company makes a purchase.
Cost and return rate of automatic screw locking machine
Due to the fact that there are usually several types of automatic screw locking machines, the investment return rates of different types of automatic screw locking equipment vary greatly. Automatic screw locking machines are non-standard customized automation equipment, and the use of such equipment depends on the production requirements of the product, and cannot be generalized.
For example, the multi axis type has high efficiency and can tighten many screws (2-20) at once. One device can replace multiple employees, and its return on investment is quite high. However, in products with a large number of screws, this type is not suitable, such as the LED module industry, where a module usually has more than 100 screws. In theory, tightening all the screws at once is quite efficient. However, in actual design, the cost of configuring 100 electric screwdrivers and transporting 100 screws at once may exceed the expectations of some companies. At the same time, the feasibility of the solution is not strong (most companies cannot meet the air source requirements for transporting 100 screws at once, and designing 100 electric screwdrivers simultaneously is difficult), so it is impossible to compare between multi axis and coordinate systems. We will list the investment return rates of three types of automatic screw locking equipment separately. Taking a product with 6 screws as an example, the company currently has 20 employees working on it. Only 5 employees are needed to complete the existing production tasks.
handheld
Handheld machines have low investment costs and short time to recover costs. Even with automatic nail feeding machines, they still cannot eliminate manual hole drilling and cannot meet the requirements of automated operations. They are suitable for small-scale production. After adopting this solution, 10-12 employees are still needed to work to meet the previous production requirements.
Multi axis type
For products with 2-20 screws, multi axis type is more suitable. Currently, technology can transport 20 screws at once and tighten them at once. Using a 6-axis type can save 6 workers, and only 4 devices and 1 employee are needed to complete the production task of the previous 20 people.
Coordinate formula
The coordinate system uses coordinate positioning, and the electric screwdriver can tighten screws one by one (or two at a time) according to the predetermined coordinates. The advantage of the coordinate system is that one person can operate multiple devices. In this case, 5 employees can operate 10 devices.
By comparison, handheld devices cannot meet the requirements, and multi axis solutions have lower investment costs than coordinate solutions. Therefore, multi axis solutions are more suitable for this situation. Its investment cost and return rate are high.
